Renae Martin

A diverse career.

In Australia, Renae has played the title role of L’Enfant in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortileges, and performed as soloist in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra under Oleg Caetanti as well as soloist in Melbourne Symphony’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl concert and soloist in Bach’s St John’s Passion with Melbourne Symphony and Leipzig Thomanerchor.

Renae has performed principal roles in La Clemenza di Tito, Juditha Triumphans, Carmen, L’incorinazione di Poppea, Hansel und Gretel, Il Matrimonio Segreto, Don Giovanni, Xerxes, Tancredi, and Alcina for various companies including Graz Opera, Barga Opera Festival, Pinchgut Opera and Glyndebourne Festival Opera.

As a recital and concert singer, Renae has performed with Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, Glyndebourne Festival Opera Recitals, Sydney Symphony and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras.

In 2014, Renae was invited by HRH Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, to sing at Windsor Castle in support of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
